Beaujolais Nouveau: a unique wine. It is more than a wine actually; it’s the epitome of the celebration of bounty, much like our Thanksgiving. In fact, it is released the third Thursday of November and celebrated throughout France with music, friendship, cuisine, and good cheer. This class will celebrate - with our fellow French oenophiles - this very young, fruity, vivacious wine which is bottled fresh from the fermentation vats of Beaujolais. We will discuss what makes the nouveau so interesting as well as how it can be elevé or raised to become a serious adult wine. And perhaps help you plan the perfect wine to accompany a sumptuous turkey feast.
