Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize innovators from the business, institutional, and nonprofit communities who are truly making a difference in Cambridge and beyond! 

2019 Visionary Award Recipients

 
Alnylam Pharmaceuticals for leading the way in a new class of innovative medicines using RNA interference to transform the lives of people afflicted with rare genetic, cardio-metabolic, and hepatic infectious diseases.
Biogen and the Biogen Foundation for the creation of STAR a Coordinated ?Ecosystem? of local nonprofits aimed at helping Cambridge & Somerville public school students pursue STEM education.
Ed Fritsch and his dedicated team at ACIR (Accelerating Cancer Immunotherapy Research) for helping researchers stay on top of new literature in the fast-moving cancer immunotherapy field by fostering researcher?s productivity to bring us closer to curing this deadly disease.
The Foundry Consortium for their collaborative effort to create a self-sustaining center for Arts + STEM for the diverse communities of Cambridge.
Michael Monestime and the Central Square Commercial Property owners for their advocacy, collaboration and vision to make the Central Square Business Improvement District (BID) a reality. 
Philips Healthcare for their development of the Precision Infection Prevention software: IntelliSpace Epidemiology Information System. This solution helps hospitals stop healthcare associated infections with clinical informatics and pathogen genomics
Rubius Therapeutics for their development of the new class of cellular medicines, Red Cell Therapeutics. These Life-changing cellular therapies are in development to treat metabolic disorders, cancer, and autoimmune diseases.
Sage Therapeutics for developing and bringing to market the first and only medicine specifically approved to treat Postpartum Depression (PPD), a common complication of pregnancy that affects more than 400,000 women in the U.S. annually.
